Sr. Software Engineer - User Interface Development

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement user interfaces for complex web-based business applications. You will work with product marketing to develop user interface guidelines, storyboards, and branded look and feel as well as work with engineering to design and develop strategies for user interface customization and integration with customer's web sites.

If you have 3+ years of UI design and development experience; 2+ years of HTML, Javascript; 1+ years of ASP or JSP development; designed interfaces that are functional in both IE and Netscape; and you're energetic, smart, self-motivated, able to perform under tight deadlines while delivering superior quality work and eager to work closely with teams outside of engineering, including product management, marketing, and business development. Sr. Software Engineer Java Development

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on Java development to implement requirements of functions for client's applications. You will also be responsible for gathering requirements for the performance enhancement and will be the key person behind a highly scalable and efficient enterprise software.

If you have 4+ years Object-Oriented design and development experience; 2+ years of web-based application development experience with Java, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) and of industry standard application servers; Web Application Server experience is a plus; knowledge of relational databases specifically Oracle and SQL Server is a plus; ability to make judgment in coordinating analysis of diverse information and making decisions in order to resolve problems; team oriented, high degree of motivation, able to adapt to rapidly changing conditions, and excellent communication skills; BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent� Then we may have a terrific opportunity for you!

VP of Sales

As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for the successful achievement of Akonite�s annual revenue goals by directing all sales and marketing related functions and activities for Akonite, and for the implementation of common sales processes and methodologies. Akonite does not currently have in-house direct Sales staff, so you will initially be singularly responsible for the establishment of new client relationships and engagements. Moving forward, you will oversee the establishment of the Sales division.

As a senior leader, you will need to be an excellent and motivated candidate who thrives under pressure and eagerly accepts responsibility and its associated rewards or risks.

The ideal candidate will coordinate the technical and creative resources required to create winning proposals, and work in collaboration with the delivery team to provide high quality solutions, expand business, and maintain the Akonite brand. The candidate will also display career results selling at the C level and of achieving or exceeding revenue goals or quota in a technology services or solutions environment.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of results-oriented Enterprise Software sales and sales management experience with any or all of the following: supply chain management and services, Web development, systems integration, ERP. Ability and eagerness to thrive in a small, fast-growing environment a must.
