Vice President of
Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Zikmund is responsible for all of the company's marketing functions, including product management and corporate communications. Ms. Zikmund has over 18 years experience in the high technology industry. Prior to joining Akonite, Ms. Zikmund was responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and product marketing for Calico Commerce. She has held senior marketing management positions at industry leader, Cadence Design, and technology leader, Synospys, in the areas of product management, services marketing, and program management. Ms. Zikmund was instrumental in growing the services business at Synopsys through the creation of several innovative "expert" programs. Ms. Zikmund has managed services operations at Synopsys, as a manager in education services and at Calico Commerce as Technical Support Manager. In addition, Ms. Zikmund brings five years of design engineering experience from world-class networking and manufacturing giant, 3Com Corp. Ms. Zikmund received her MBA from Santa Clara University and her BS EE/CS from U.C. Berkeley.
